My chakra journey

My chakra journey

I hope this finds you well. These are challenging times, to be sure. If you’re reading this, coping tools are calling you in  – and I hope you are finding methods that offer moments of solace. I live in West Marin, so I am comfortable having conversations about auras, heartbreak, hope & love (even with complete strangers!) I have had shrines built in our home and a 3,000 pound Ganesha statue in our yard. Living close to the world renowned meditation center, Spirit Rock (link https://www.spiritrock.org/) makes me feel very lucky, even if we can’t visit in person. I am willing to try (almost) anything to gain clarity and peace within this crazy world. I also understand that a clean diet and uninterrupted sleep help, but mine are not always great. I grew up as a vegetarian in the Midwest and have an affection for liquid orange cheese and skepticism. I can’t take everything too seriously and definitely don’t like when spiritual tools (or diet) are used with a sense of moral superiority.

My path has led me to different religions and spiritual practices. I can’t say I am devout to anything, but am very interested in all ancient wisdom. I believe that we can learn a lot from these philosophies that still applies to life today. During this unprecedented time, I have been on a bit of an emotional roller coaster, I don’t think I’m alone here. Some days are better than others. I try to keep up with what makes me feel good and meditation went from being a lovely luxury to a necessity pretty quickly.

Clearing a different chakra each day of the week gives my restless mind focus. Allowing my pranna (life force) to flow helps me feel more positive and grounded. At age 42, I feel I have a better understanding of myself than ever before. As I clear chakras with the help of our chakra stones, bathing and meditation, I find improvement in: my sense of security, self worth, personal power, love, connection, creativity, intuition & spirituality. I created the Floramye bath bliss set so that others could give and receive the meaningful gift of well-being. Thanks and be well!
