Finding balance with your self care routine

If you’ve spent any time on social media in the last year, you’ve no doubt heard influencers, wellness gurus, or even your girlfriends preaching the importance of a self-care routine. With so many demands on our schedules already, it might seem almost impossible to add in regular, let alone daily self-care rituals. 

Self-care isn’t meant to be just one more thing on your to-do list. When done regularly and intentionally, it can bring balance to our demanding schedules and boost our mental wellbeing by letting our mind and body slow down and rest. 

Although it’s often presented as intense, complicated pampering, self-care can be as simple as prioritizing 10-15 minutes each day to focus on your needs. If you have been avoiding adding self-care into your daily routine, start with one of these simple routines, each elevated with the addition of healing CBD oil.

Morning Ritual

A simple way to make sure you fit self-care into your daily routine is to do it first thing in the morning before the demands of the day begin. A morning skincare ritual is a simple way to add in a little time dedicated to wellbeing, and both your skin and mind will benefit from it. 

Begin by rinsing or washing your face. This will help wake you up and give you a clean slate for the rest of your routine. Next, apply a simple toner, like organic rosewater. Midday Ritual

Carving out a little time to take care of yourself in the middle of the day can go a long way for your health, both mental and physical. Take a few minutes to center your mind, stretch your legs, and get some sunshine with a short walk, 10-15 minutes is all you need.  Before you begin, massage a small amount of our calming CBD body creme into areas that are often strained when sitting at a desk or working at a computer, like your lower back, neck, or wrists. The end of the day is another perfect place to add in a little self-care. An evening ritual will help you relax and put some space between the demands of the day and bedtime.
